I was fault finding and It would appear the the O/D solenoid does get its signal from the LPS on the 2.5 Auto which may explain why some people have O/D and others don't. The only thing is I cant find an exact set up for a 3 wire LPS for a 2.5.
There are plenty of posts on the TPS on the 2.8 but I don't think they set up the same because the 2.8 has the electronic gearbox and the 2.5 is more old type
If any body has this I would appreciate a copy so I can test to see what happens when its not correct, and mixed with a badly adjusted kick down cable etc.
